Nikola Tesla

Nikola Tesla - Limited Edition

Visconti continues its journey dedicated to the great innovators and scientists of the past, paying homage to one of history's most visionary minds: Nikola Tesla. This limited-edition collection of 88 pieces blends art, science, and cutting-edge technology.
A world-renowned inventor, physicist, and engineer, Tesla revolutionized the very concept of energy, pioneering alternating current, wireless transmission, and the technologies that have defined the modern world.
The collection's design draws inspiration from the famous Tesla coils, devices capable of generating spectacular lightning-like plasma discharges.
The barrel and cap, featuring a distinctive cylindrical shape with a toroidal tip, are crafted from blue fluorescent resin and finely crafted to recreate miniature lightning bolts that mimic the discharges produced by the original coils.
The body is embellished with the embossed lime green enamel lettering "Tesla" and "Visconti," elegantly emerging from a metallic purple enamel surface, creating refined contrasts.
The cap's torus features a transparent acrylic disc with a diamond-engraved Visconti "V," suspended as if floating in the void: a poetic reference to the physical forces Tesla sought to make tangible.
Three rose gold-plated rings, crafted to evoke the copper windings of the coils, harmoniously punctuate the body of the pen: one in the center and two at the ends.
The fountain pen version features a rose gold-plated 18kt gold nib and a Power Filler filling system.
What makes this collection truly iconic is the special display box, inspired by Tesla's famous tower.
Thanks to the pen's hollow structure and the design of the toroids, a light projected from the stand activates the resin's fluorescence, making the engraved lightning bolts glow in a striking ice blue.
The result is a startling vision: the pen appears to be shot through with luminous electrical discharges, as if truly animated by the energy Tesla dreamed of releasing into the world.
"The present is theirs; the future, for which I have truly worked, is mine."
